With the new K.O. shotgun slug, BRENNEKE presents a technical development in the field of less lethal ammunition (so-called lessthan-lethal). After many years of development, the new material KOline® is used, which deforms extremely quickly in the target and can be used primarily for self-defence purposes and in the field of government ammunition. The disadvantages of rubber bullets or so-called "bean bag ammunition" for firing a cotton bag filled with pellets or similar are avoided. This is achieved by a much lower Vo of 96 m/sec. and an Eo of 46 joules. The effective engagement distance is between 8 and 10 metres. Then the 9.1 g / 140 grs K.O. Self Defence in 12/70 calibre stops every opponent immediately and unmistakably. The sub-calibre projectile is in a pink-coloured sabot and therefore stops with the "Power of Pink". Due to the almost imperceptible recoil, the cartridge can be used by any shooter from any shotgun barrel with or without a choke.
